• Account data: name, email address, and authentication data, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Usage data: saved models, watchlists, and notes you create — tied to your account so you can access them later.
• Waitlist data: your email address, if you join our waitlist.
• Billing data: if you subscribe, payment details are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) — we do not store your card details ourselves.
• Technical data: IP address and basic analytics needed to operate and secure the platform.

2. Why we collect it

We process your data to provide the Kronefield service (account access, saved research tools, membership billing), to communicate with you about your account, and to improve the platform. Our legal bases are performance of a contract (running your account), consent (e.g. the waitlist and any marketing email), and legitimate interest (security and service improvement).

3. Who we share it with

We share data with the service providers that power Kronefield, acting as our data processors:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Neon — database hosting (EU region)
• Financial Modeling Prep — market data (does not receive your personal data)
• Stripe — payment processing, once membership billing is live
• Hosting providers (e.g. Vercel) — running the application

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal or accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@kronefield.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. International transfers

Where a service provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
